💫 About Seismic Generosity

What is Seismic Generosity?

Seismic Generosity is a movement, a podcast, and a sacred space where compassion erupts into action. It’s a soulquake—where generosity shakes the ground beneath despair and hope rises like a tide.

Who founded Seismic Generosity?

Angelique Cooper McGlotten founded Seismic Generosity as an overflow of her heart—a divine assignment born from a sacred crossroads in her life.

What does “soulquake” mean?

A soulquake is a deep inner shift—a tremor of compassion that moves us to give, serve, and love in ways that ripple across lives and generations.

How is this different from other charitable efforts?

This isn’t just about giving—it’s about discipleship through generosity. Seismic Generosity calls us to live with an eternal mindset, storing up treasures in Heaven by showing compassion to the least of these. It’s not transactionala tremor of compassion that moves us to give, serve, and love in ways that ripple across lives and generations.

What is the connection between Seismic Generosity and Heart In Heaven?

Heart In Heaven is a nonprofit founded in 2021 by the founder of Seismic Generosity to live out the message of the book she published in 2015, Living Backward. It’s the hands and feet of this movement, providing tangible support to the forgotten poor. Seismic Generosity is the broader call to awaken others to join in this mission.

Is this a faith-based movement?

Yes. Seismic Generosity is deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe that showing compassion to the least of these is not optional—it’s the essence of true discipleship.

What does “Living Backward” mean?

Living Backward is the title of the book Seismic Generosity’s founder wrote and published ten years ago. It’s about living with eternity in mind—making choices today that will matter forever. It’s a call to live with future-oriented hindsight, storing up treasures in heaven through compassion, obedience, and purpose.
