May 31, 2007…so says my written journal entry.
An Ordinary Day
Eighteen years ago, it began on a seemingly ordinary day—with a single sentence—four words that etched themselves into my soul, leaving an indelible mark that time could never erase. A woman whom I had literally just met looked me in the eyes and said, “You’re a human bulldozer.”
Not a destroyer—but a force. A mover.
Someone who clears the way for others, in the same way a bulldozer clears a forest so that a road can be built.
As I reflect, I now realize that that moment both named and confirmed my purpose:
- To alleviate suffering
- To dismantle despair
- To make way for Hope
Saving A Family From Days of Hunger
For as long as I can remember, few things have brought me more joy than making a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Like the time I sent a mere $25 to someone in Liberia, only to find out later that it was used to purchase food for his family, who had not eaten in days, and for urgently needed medication for himself. These are the moments that fuel my commitment to Generosity.
Living Simply that Others May Simply Live
I’ve witnessed— again and again—the extraordinary power of generosity to breathe hope into even the most desperate situations.
That truth has anchored my life for over two decades, shaping how I live, give, and walk alongside those in need. I’ve chosen to live simply— so that others may simply live.
Then, three years ago, while working on the website of the nonprofit I founded, a piercing question surfaced—unexpected, yet unforgettable.
It came calmly, but with unmistakable force.
And it carried with it a quiet urgency, as if whispered to those I longed to invite into a vision—
A vision of generosity that gives life.
A movement of hope-bearers rising to meet despair with dignity, mercy, and love.
Heart-Igniting Words
“What luxuries can you live without to provide what others will die without?“
It wasn’t just a question—it was a summons.
A silent battle cry, calling forth the hidden hope-bearers among us.
Though the movement hadn’t yet spread, that moment marked the genesis of Seismic Generosity—a vision sparked by empathy, sustained by intention, and driven by the unwavering belief that generosity can shake the very foundations of despair.
Seismic Generosity is more than giving. It’s a radical shift in how we give—an awakening that carves hope from the depths of despair and turns compassion into a catalyst for lasting change.
Waiting For God’s Time
This vision for Seismic Generosity simmered quietly for nearly three years.
Not because conviction was missing—
But because capacity was.
Still, deep down, I knew.
I knew God had called me to carve pathways of hope for the hopeless.
To mobilize the machinery of compassion.
To rally hope-carriers—those with the resources—and the 
heart—to become vessels of mercy, restorers of dignity, and bearers of life.
And, I trusted that, in God’s appointed time, the “baby” would be born.
The waiting is over.
The vision has arrived.
Seismic Generosity is here.
The. Time. Is. Now.
Now is the time to urgently forge paths of hope for those trapped in despair.

Seismic Generosity was born from the sacred truth: generosity is not passive—it’s a force multiplier.
It matters because it moves, and it moves because it matters.
This is not just giving—it’s a tectonic shift of the heart. Seismic Generosity speaks to the power of disruption as divine invitation: to rebuild, to restore, and to rise. It’s a movement that believes hope is not fragile—it’s forged in the tremors of truth, compassion, and action.

Rekindled by Liberia
That vision was reignited by a spark of hope I recently witnessed in the eyes of children in my birthplace of Liberia.
Through Heart in Heaven (HIH), the nonprofit I founded in 2021, I stood amazed as 3rd- and 4th-graders from a community marked by poverty spelled out nine-letter words at one of our digital academies, powered by SmartBox technology.
Their sparkling eyes and quiet confidence felt like a miracle unfolding—a living testament to the power of delivering hope through education and opportunity.
Why the Name Seismic Generosity?
The name emerged from a vision of transformation so powerful that it shakes the very ground beneath disparities and injustices. I wanted a word picture that captured the powerful, catalytic energy of partnership—the kind that doesn’t just help, but heals, transforms, and reimagines.
Seismic Generosity also evokes the raw, untamed energy of seismic activity—an unstoppable force that doesn’t just shift landscapes, but redefines them. In the same way, generosity—when ignited by compassion—can ripple outward with seismic impact, reaching into the cracks where despair once lived and planting seeds of hope.
Just as seismic shifts shake the earth and send shockwaves across continents, generosity—when fueled by purpose—can awaken dormant potential and unleash waves of possibility.

Seismic Generosity is the living pulse of our parent organization, Heart In Heaven (HIH), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to lifting people from material poverty into the eternal hope and riches found in Christ Jesus.
As HIH’s teaching and mobilization arm, Seismic Generosity transforms vision into action. Through this dynamic partnership, generosity takes shape in real, tangible ways—reaching into the lives of individuals and communities with life-changing impact across the 🌍 globe.
From Vision to Impact: A Movement of Transformational Generosity
Seismic Generosity is more than giving —it’s a 
movement. A force of soul-deep compassion powerful enough to shake despair and rebuild lives with enduring hope.
This movement fuels every story we 
tell, every life we touch, and every initiative we launch—including Launch Liberia, the first tremor of a global 
wave. Liberia is near and dear to my heart because it’s where my own story began. My heart breaks for the plight of my fellow Liberians, whose lives are crushed under the weight of dismal realities such as:
- 70-80% unemployment
- 2/3 of school-aged children are not in school—many go through the school day hungry
- 7 out of 10 Liberians consume only one meager meal a day.
- More than 60% of the population is comprised of those under 25, who lack education and trade or technical skills for gainful employment.
A better and brighter future is possible for Liberia! HIH is determined to fight poverty, fuel hope, create change, and elevate Liberians to new heights. Access to much-needed resources is carving pathways out of poverty and unleashing Liberians’ creative and enterprising potential. Launch Liberia continues to be a catalyst for lasting transformation.

In a country where infrastructure has been decimated and opportunity is scarce, this initiative seeks to ignite lasting transformation.
Through Launch Liberia, we aim to share the hope found in Christ, restore dignity, spark hope, and build pathways to education, vocational training, and economic empowerment. It’s not just about changing communities facing hardships—it’s about awakening hearts, both in Liberia and within ourselves.
